Curriculum Vitae Fasano
Dr. Yanina Fasano (Rosario, Argentina, 1974) got her Licenciatura (1998) and PhD in Physics (2003) at the Instituto Balseiro of Bariloche, Patagonia, Argentina. She was teaching assistant and post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Condensed Matter Physics of the University of Geneva, Switzerland (2004-2008). She is currently permanent researcher from Conicet at the Low Temperatures Lab of the Centro Atómico Bariloche and teaches experimental and theoretical Physics at the Instituto Balseiro. She currently leads a research line on local electronic and magnetic properties of superconductors and strongly-correlated electronic systems. Her research interests cover vortex matter in superconductors as a model system of soft condensed matter and applying scanning tunneling spectroscopy to unveil local electronic order in superconductors and magnetic systems.
