  Abstract We have studied the electrical resistivity and Hall effect in the dissipative regime of Nb films with periodic rectangular arrays of Ni and Co submicrometric dots. Samples with different orientations of the pinning arrays respect to the applied current direction where studied. The even parity in magnetic field of the Hall effect signals a guided motion of the vortices. Possible origins for the vortex channeling are discussed.
